Big Brothers Big Sisters is in search of an Enrollment Coordinator and a Program Coordinator. These positions are vital in enrolling our amazing Bigs (mentors), both youth and adults; creating meaningful matches of Bigs and Littles; and providing ongoing support and guidance to volunteer mentors to ensure our matches are safe and impactful. Be a trusted resource and coach for mentors (Bigs), youth (Littles), and families. Help youth establish a strong, positive relationship with a caring mentor. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required.
Starting Wage: $16.50 an hour (40 hours per week, non-exempt)

Program Support Volunteers
Volunteer Front Desk Assistant
Volunteer Front Desk Assistants (unpaid position) will assist Big Brothers Big Sisters staff in providing excellent customer service and reception at our front desk.

- Screen and assist with phone calls/office visits during time spent at front desk

These internship opportunities allow you hands-on experience working in the human services field with a large focus on client and volunteer support and management. As an intern you would have the opportunity to observe interviews, match support calls & check-ins and annual match meetings. You would also be able to conduct reference calls and write assessments, learning to use your professional judgement.
You would be able to participate in staff and program meetings, while having the opportunity to work with other youth serving/non-profit agencies and area schools.
Majors in the Human Service field are preferred, such as Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Child and Family Studies, etc.

This internship would be strongly focused on preparing and implementing the groundwork for fundraising events. As an intern, you would work closely with the special events committee to plan, organize and create the event(s) as well as develop partnerships with businesses.
Other opportunities may include helping prepare for presentations to companies, data entry, attending committee meetings and networking events, and coordination of smaller projects.
All majors are considered for this internship, with an emphasis on business and/or marketing. The schedule can be flexible, however, approximately
15 - 20 hours a week is expected.
